This was an interesting and exciting project to work on Fords first fully electric SUV.

I had the opportunity to create both front and rear seats of the standard spec that would later be used in all of the promotions and advertisements of the vehicle. It proved to be a real challenge as changes were constantly being made whilst during the CGI production stages. This also resulted in references not being readily available and having to really solely on CAD data supplied. This also meant that a number of amendments had to be made during production.

Nonetheless I enjoyed creating something that to me seemed very different from your normal everyday car seat. Instead of your usual soft rounded variants these are very angular and more like something you would find on a sci-fi show. With the interesting stitch line designs integrated into the backrests and base of the seat it made for something that I think looks visually appealing.
